Ummul Khoura Foundation for Islamic Studies and Scientific Researches is a\u00a0 young charitable educational foundation, but at the same time it has risen\u00a0 rapidly and advanced in a few years.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0It was founded in 1992 by a sincere preacher and encyclopaedic teacher, the\u00a0 late: Sheikh Mustapha Lowe.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

This foundation was a small library of modest size in a corner of Banjul, and\u00a0 today it is a high-rise charitable educational foundation with many schools. <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The vision of the Foundation is to be within the year 2020 -2025 a distinguished foundation among local and international foundations, and to have a wide\u00a0 spread in everything that would serve the human being in general and Muslims\u00a0 in particular and have a tangible contribution to building society.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The Foundation always seeks to serve the community, as it looks\u00a0 forward to making more achievements and effective contributions in\u00a0 the field of science, work and advocacy, including;\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

  1. Establishing an integrated Islamic library, so that it includes a large\u00a0 number of books in various fields to enable researchers to conduct\u00a0 various researches on different Islamic and scientific matters.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>
  2. To strengthen the foundation’s relations with international bodies\u00a0 and countries to increase the dispatch of its graduates abroad to\u00a0 further their academic career.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>
  3. Establishing a computer lab to allow its graduates to know the\u00a0 principles of computer before entering the higher education or the\u00a0 work sector.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>
  4. Building a vocational school to enable its graduates to the labour market.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>
  5. providing charitable and advocacy projects to all Gambian society.<\/span><\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
